Not a matter of "If", but a matter of "When".

Eversince Tanleng sent Ghetto Crossing 13a/b, the attention has been diverted to me on Lateralus for the past week. The closest I've got on the V9/10 crux was to struggle my way to the last hard move/jump to the 2-finger pocket on Ghetto Crossing. I basically figured that the move is feeling so desperate for me now that it'll probably take another couple of weeks just to stick that move. Strangely, I surprised myself last Sat by climbing the boulder section entirely, sticking the move to the pocket and actually getting on Ghetto Crossing. Sadly, it being my 6th burn and me usually not lasting too long working on V-double-digits, my fingers basically uncurled from the decent holds and fell off the upper section of the climb....well, not exactly kicking myself cos progress is progress afterall.

As for prepping myself for the climb, can't say I'll be able to do anything during the week cos school's been crazy and we're pretty much messing around the gym on Wed evenings without any serious training agenda. And with mid-term going on and me having to take the tests and also dishing them out to students, I've been missing my sessions at the weights gym even. This is seriously turning me into a weekend warrior. But I figured if I continue to put it on the line for this 14 and work at it with all I've got, sending it will be a matter of time.
